Kristina Lance is a proud graduate of Howard University, Class of 2012, where she earned her degree in journalism with a concentration in advertising and a minor in graphic design. Born and raised in Denver and a Montbello High School alumna, Kristina is a passionate advocate for HBCUs and the vital role they play as affirming spaces for students of color to learn and thrive. Attending Howard was a transformational experience that shaped her confidence, creativity, and commitment to advancing the Black community.

As President of the Howard University Alumni Club of Colorado, Kristina is dedicated to strengthening alumni connections, expanding outreach, and creating opportunities to pour into the next generation through service, mentorship, and scholarship.

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Naiya Williams is a proud Overland High School alumna and a 2023 graduate of Howard University, where she majored in Criminology with a minor in Psychology. Her time at The Mecca was transformative, shaping her into a dynamic leader with a heart for service and a commitment to community.

As the newly elected Vice President of the Colorado Alumni Club, Naiya Williams is passionate about bridging the gap between the Rocky Mountains and the Hilltop. She joined the alumni board to inspire and empower more students from Colorado to consider the life-changing experience of attending an HBCU—especially one as iconic as Howard.

With a vision to boost engagement, deepen connections, and grow the Bison footprint in the Centennial State, Naiya Williams is excited to create spaces where alumni feel seen, celebrated, and proud to rep both Colorado and Howard wherever they go.
